This was fun.

This is not only interesting to watch, but also scary. Watching this film, this would not be for kids to watch. Pretty sure if they made a full movie on this, they would be terrified.

I remember ayonf this for hours as a kid. Honestly, I love it when dvds have little games on them. Like Snow White, Return to Neverland, Beauty and the Beast, House of Villains, and the Lion King.

In the original concept of the film, there was supposed to be a t-rex as the main villain instead of carnotaurus.

In full honesty, I would like any new dinosaur movie like this or any other. Can’t get enough.

As engaging as this scene is, I can see two reasons why it was cut: 1. It unevens the pacing and needlessly drags on for too long. As awkward as the blisters scene was, it does admittedly flow with the pacing much better. 2. Yar is uncharacteristically cold to Eema; I know the two exchange cynical banter back and forth throughout the film, but he's being straight up mean to her in this scene.

This is truly terrifying, even with the carnotaurus staring into my soul at 1:23

0:54 My guess is Kron had an alternate death that they recut before it was released? I remember reading a picture book based on the movie when I was a kid that said something about the Carnotaur throwing Kron over the edge, so that would make sense.

I know it's not there in how this scene or the actual movie plays out, but I have this temptation to, if I were writing this, have the Carnosaur take note of the recently departed male, then the still-living female. They share a single brief look. Though no words pass, you can tell the carnivore knows what she's doing, and understands. A bit of sniffing, a single cautious step...then it cuts to Aladar. _ It would probably leave the audience with the impression that while it obviously took the free meal for all it was worth, the Carnosaur probably wasn't overly brutal, and she went out as quick and as painlessly as possible. Just something to show that even if they're natural enemies to the herbivores, these creatures aren't monsters, just animals that fulfill their role in the ecosystem like all the rest.

something I didn't think about before: at the beginning you see baby dinosaurs afraid to cross, but at the end you don't see any of them. Were they able to cross the river or did they also die? If the crocodiles ate them it makes it even more terrifying.
